## How it works

1. A family member enters their parent's first name, US phone number and time zone, the call time (7 am to 8:45 pm, in 15-minute steps) and the days of the week. They can add a medication reminder and a few things to chat about, such as the grandkids, the garden or a favorite team.
2. Each chosen morning, June calls the parent's regular phone and chats for about five minutes: how they slept, whether they've eaten, the medication reminder if the family wants one, plans for the day, and the topics the family suggested.
3. After each call, the family gets an email with a short summary and a mood (good, okay or low). The family can choose a note after every call, or only when something's off.

- The family gets an alert email if something sounds off, such as pain, a fall, confusion, or very low mood several days running.
- If the parent doesn't pick up, June tries three times: at the set time, 20 minutes later, then 40 minutes after that. If there's still no answer, the family gets an alert email.
